The Local Governance Help Line 16256 (LGHL) is a joint initiative of the Government of Bangladesh, The World Bank, and Synesis IT designed to provide easy access to information about the Union Parishad Act, LGSP-2 projects, Village courts, and LGGP-related matters. By ensuring that LG functionaries and citizens have access to accurate and up-to-date information, LGHL aims to improve local governance and support the development of strong, effective communities. Through this innovative service, the government and the World Bank are working together to empower individuals and communities across Bangladesh.
